As a public authority, it also participates in European initiatives and projects addressing urban sustainability, social inclusion, and climate-related challenges.
Role in the Project
Within the ISMED-CLIM project, the Municipality of Korydallos contributes as a local authority and demonstration site partner, supporting the implementation of project activities at the community level.
The municipality participates in stakeholder engagement and Living Lab activities, helping connect the project with local communities, municipal workers, and policy stakeholders. Through its involvement, Korydallos facilitates testing and evaluation of climate resilience interventions and supports the co-creation of solutions aimed at reducing climate-related health risks in urban environments.
By providing access to local networks, infrastructure, and public administration expertise, the municipality helps ensure that the solutions developed in the project are practical, scalable, and aligned with the needs of local communities and public authorities across the Mediterranean region.
